Last Saturday, the Palmar de Troya Town Council inaugurated its new motorhome area, located at the town’s fairgrounds, in a very special ceremony together with the Andalusian Motorhome Association, in which both corporations exchanged commemorative gifts.
Afterwards, to mark the occasion, various activities and visits were organised by the local council. It began on Saturday afternoon with an outdoor walk to the Zarracatín Lagoon, part of the Utrera Endorheic Complex and one of the municipality’s natural treasures.
It continued on Sunday at 10:00 a.m., when more than 150 people gathered to take part in a tour aimed at discovering the history of the town through three stops: Cortijo de Troya, Torre del Águila and Embalse de Torre del Águila.
This project stems from the Municipal Corporation’s initiative to create and position the Palmar de Troya tourism brand, thus enhancing its appeal as an inland tourism destination, especially for motorhome tourism.
